1. What do you do?
CLF is a professional learning and networking organization for Christian Ministry and Church Leaders in the Atlanta Metro Area. We host a luncheon with a speaker who can help with the business and professional development of ministry leaders.
2. How often do you meet?
Every other odd month except July – 5 times a year on the 3rd Thursday of January, March, May, September, and November.
3. How long have you been meeting?
CLF is 6 years old. We got started with the generous help of Chick-fil-A.
4. How many members do you have?
We don’t have members, just a contact list of about 300 Atlanta ministry leaders.
5. How many people come to the meetings? About 40 leaders attend each meeting.
6. Is there any membership fee?
No. The cost is just $20 per person for the meeting and lunch.
7. Do you offer any discounts?
You may buy the 5-lunch series in September for just $80 and use it for anyone in your office. Some agencies buy 2 “subscriptions” for the year and the staff members who are most interested come to the luncheon.
8. Where do you meet?
We have the meetings and lunch at the First Baptist Church of Atlanta located right off the Northside of I-285. For directions see www.FBA.org.
9. Who is invited?
Any church or ministry leader interested in networking or growth. We also invite job seekers.
10. What are the topics?
Leadership, Fundraising & Development, Planning, Marketing, Branding, Public Relations and Media, Internet and Web, Human Resources, etc.
11. Who runs CLF and plans the meetings?
There are 5 Board Members planning the calendar and running the organization.
12. Can I nominate speakers?
Of course, we would be delighted to know who you would like to hear and think others would benefit from.
13. Do the speakers get paid?
No, however, they get lunch and a very nice gift!
14. Do you have sponsors?
No, but we are open to the idea!
